It's been a long road..6 years of ups and downs with this tank. First it was a saltwater tank until a filter failure caused a crash. 2000.00 gone in a matter of minutes. Converted it to a freshwater and transferred the fish from my 30 gallon where most died from old age after a couple of years in the new tank.
Replaced those over time and about 8 months ago had a ammonia spike right after a deep cleaning and large water change. Lost over half of my fish. Slowly replaced them and now the plants are thriving and the new residents are seem happy and healthy ..
