I'm a big fan of https://flyfishingshow.com and, aside from one year in Pleasanton, have been a regular at the Denver show for at least 10 years now. Yes, I remember the old Denver Mart days and REALLY love the Gaylord Resort location.

Last year, we moved from snowbirding in Arizona <-> Michigan to full-time in Michigan. I wanted to get a more Eastern view of fly fishing since Denver focuses on Western and Saltwater more than anything east of the Mississippi. Marlborough, MA, Edison, NJ, and Atlanta, GA, seem like the most interesting, even though Lancaster, PA, is the closest.

For those who have attended any of them, what are you thoughts for any? Or should I just stick with Denver (it's big and fun) and visit the Midwest Fly Fishing Expo in early March for my "Eastern fix"?

I attend the one in MA. Cool to see some local guides, regional outfitters, and a few destination lodges. But the best part is the local vendors. I score a lot of great trying materials and tools. It’s also a great place to haggle for deals, my buddy outfitted a nice mid to high-end setup at low to mid tier prices.

Atlanta show was cancelled for 2026 so you can take that off the list of options. The venue cancelled their contract unexpectedly which is a bummer.
