hello everyone,
i have had my beautiful female betta, monet, for a few months now and she was an absolute delight. she used to swim up to the surface everytime she heard me, nibble on my finger, let me pat her (don’t worry, my hands were clean and suitable for the tank), eat food enthusiastically and just be an overall energetic baby. she lives with tetras and cory’s in a good sized tank. recently, she has been turning a dull jaundice yellow, hiding in corners, not greeting me, not eating, sticking to the filter and getting stuck in plants for support and just overall, not being herself 🙁 we have changed about 3 cups of water from the tank everyday for 5 days with medication as per our aquatic shop’s advice but there has been no difference. we noticed this last week and her colours been fading more and more everyday. all the other fish are healthy so that’s good, but i just want monet to be okay 🙁
does anyone have any idea what’s going on? please help and give any medication or cure recommendations
thank you.

Don’t be upset because sometimes it’s not your fault. Most of these bettas were raised so quick with beef heart like less than 1 month and mostly are inbred
What are you feeding?
Sometimes food can impact color over time, not all coloring agents in fishfood can be used by carnivorous fish like Betta.
Can you get a video of her? These colors look normal to me. Changing color over time is expected, but behavior changes worry me.
