I can’t stop buying fishing gear. Picked up these two baitcasters because I want to start opening them up and working on them and needed a couple beaters to try it with. Any advice? Might try to clean them up too and touch up the paint.
Picked up the combo mainly for the rod, don’t know much about the baitcaster attached.
Note: I got there too late, the dude sold a combo with some sort of 9 to 10 foot rod with what I’m pretty sure was a Shimano Calcutta attached for $40.

They were rapala, vintage ones, all brand new from a hoarder.

But did I get like 800$ worth of gear for 50? Yeah.
