Just got a betta 5 days ago. My set up right now is a semi planted tank. My plan was to slowly add plants. I started with two anubias and a Java moss. With some fake plant to give some temporary hiding spots. I have been testing the water every other day. Readings normal. Everything was fine. Till this morning I saw it. He had some fungus growing on his left fin.

Immediately bought some Pimafux and Melafix and dosed my aquarium. I notice the Java moss that he likes to sleep on has some fungal growth and immediately removed my plants. incase they are all sources of the fungus as I got them from the same store.

Is now been about 11 hours since I saw the fungus. It has now spread to his left gills and covers the top of his head.

Note that I got the little guy with damaged fins, the his fully black and blue. I was hoping to nurse him back to health.

If there is any advise you guys can give to keep this little guy alive, ill take it.
