I'm back. A great person and now friend that I met through Reddit, who is now a fishing buddy, said the "Vamp Kid" would be a great euro nymphing pattern. So in that respect, I tied one down to the size that would be suitable for his rivers.
I love fishing, obviously, and I love tying. I was fortunate enough to give myself a Christmas present and upgrade my vice recently. That fishing buddy will be getting a hand-me-down renzetti traveler vice to further enable his fly fishing addictions.
This gentleman also gave me a Hatch Finatic Reel that he didn't use…. It's honestly the nicest reel I own. The nicest reel I own was given to me as a present.
The moral of this story is be nice to your fellow redditors and fellow fishermen. Pass on the love of the sport and all things around it.
