My dad is visiting from WI for the weekend, so we had to hit the ice this morning! Getting this lake dialed in now. Vmc rattle spoons (orange/silver) was the ticket today. I’ve been replacing the stock treble with a bladed treble and have had good results. Peep the second pic – they were crushing it!
Drilled a lot of holes and stayed mobile – fish were in 10-14 fow today. 5 eyes, 1 LM, and a bunch of crappie.
Set lines and dead sticks have not been producing for me this year – all my eyes have been jigging. Last year it was about 50/50
Have a great (and safe) first weekend on the ice yall!
