Came home today with clove oil to put him down, but he was gone by the time i got home. I beleive it was orgasm failure due to old age because of the symptoms he was showing, but i still feel guilty i couldnt put him out of his misery before he died (or at least have been there with him). Unfortunately i don't know how much he suffered when he died, but i can only hope it was peaceful. RIP floyd, you will be missed ❤️

I watch a hospice nurse fairly often which maybe is weird but I’m fairly morbid. Maybe obviously, she talks about human death, but she’s lead me to understand that unless it is traumatic, like from a gunshot or wreck, that generally the body is built to die easily. Yes, it’s built to live, but when the time comes the organs fail in the correct order. The body releases chemicals that make you feel warm and comfortable. Death is something all animals go through. And it’s likely that even though your guy was uncomfortable and bloated, that his last moments were of peace and tranquility.
