This thing is practically brand new, dipped less than 20 times probably. My son somehow pushed the button in and pulled the end cap out of the handle. The button and spring is gone, couldn't find it anywhere. I do still have the cap though. What can I rig up to make it work without falling apart? Don't say just buy a new one. I don't want to lol

Use a screw
Drill a hole through the other side, then secure with a stainless steel bolt and nylon lock nut or a nut and loctite.
