I have a Garmin 53CV echomap uhd2 ice bundle with the dual beam transducer. It's not even a year old yet and its been on the ice a total of maybe 20hr. This past trip it was showing a mark at 10 ft all the time in whatever hole I dropped it in. Then it suddenly looked like it was set on top of a brush pile. At that point I turned it off, checked all connections and the ducer, and powered on again. Now I have no bottom and it thinks im in 66ft of water when im only in 14ft. No bottom shows and no marks. I set everything back to default setting and messed with gain, depth, etc. Transducer selection is correct. I already emailed Garmin about warranty. Wondering if anyone else has seen something like this.

  1. Battery might be dead, mine looked like this when my ducer crapped out. That’s my one complaint about the Garmin ducer they are known to not last.
