This fish was surrendered to me by a neighbor in the tiniest fair tank Since then I've given him a nice home in a 5 gallon tank by himself all live plants, no sharp objects, plenty of dark spits for him to hide, nice heater and filter. Water has been tested by the api master test kit and everything is within normal limits. Bacteria added for a kick start. He was pale orange when i got him with a black face and in cold water. Since hes warmed up hes shimmery blue in spots, more orange and turning more black. I don't know what kind of betta he is. Should I be worried about the color change or his fins? Are these normal for a betta. Please help a concerned new fish parents.
