Recently, over the summer, I used my buddy's 10 ft rod while bass fishing after snapping my 6 foot 8 rod in the tailgate of my truck. I instantly fell in love, went to Walmart, and bought a 25 dollar Berkeley 10ft rod. I put my expensive Lew's reel on it and have been slaying everything from almost 7-pound bass to 9-pound brown trout to little stocked rainbow trout. The casting distance of a ten-foot rod and the sensitivity is unmatched. I swear I could feel a fly if it were on the end of the pole. So my question is, I'm ready to move up in quality, with price not being a problem. What's the best 10 ft rod out there?
