I posted my tank in the past (33g/125 l tank), its my very first fish tank. Currently stocked with 11 lambchop/espei rasbora, 7 panda corys, 12 adults and a whole lot of juvenile blue dream neocaridina shrimp and a whol lot of bladder and ramhorn snails.

Water parameters are GH 6, KH 5, PH 7,5, 0 nitrite, 0 ammonium, temperature currently kept at 24 °C.

I want to add either a couple or 1 male and 2 female honey gouramis. I know they need plenty of vegetation to feel comfortable, but i think my plants have spread out/grown enough by now. Would also appricate general feedback on my tank, in general I'm quite satisfied by how it had developed so far.

An entire civilization could hide in that jungle and not be discovered by man for generations. You have plenty of plant coverage

Beautiful tank! I think you’re covered lol, that’s definitely in the ‘heavily planted’ category, you might never even see your gouramis again. That being said I would consider waiting another 1-2 months for that shrimp colony to get a bit bigger. Honey gouramis will snack on them, especially the shrimplets. With that much vegetation they could probably hide, but also when a fish has nothing to do all day but swim around and look for something yummy and learns it’s home houses no threats, it could end up in no mo shrimps. If you just like the gouramis and want them now you could look at sparkling gouramis! They’re smaller, the smallest gourami in fact, and can’t eat nearly as many shrimp as honeys

What plants do you have? And where did you get them? I want my tank at this point but don’t know what plants to get.
