
The cholla wood needs to sink, and my friend is getting me some cherry shrimp and assorted plants from his tanks, but hopefully once it cycles this 10 gallon will make a good home! No betta yet, for those looking.
I do have one question though: how did people get used to having an aquarium heater on 24/7 in their home? Because I’m personally VERY afraid of house fires. I’m kind of a paranoiac.

The heater is plugged in all day but it’s not running most the time! If you have stable temperatures it shouldn’t be running often (only until the water is the desired temp) hope that eases your mind a bit!
