Will this light help grow live plants? I have a normal hood light and it does. Nothing. This says full spectrum but I’ve never grew live plants successfully in an aquarium.

Depends on how strong the light is, how big a tank and a bunch of other things. Spectrum is just one aspect of lighting. But in a general sense. This “should” work to some extent at the least. Normal good lights are made mostly so you the owner can see. They aren’t worried about using more expensive lighting for growing things unless it’s specifically packaged that way(like a lot of nano tanks these days at least higher quality brands)
