Are these trailers too long for these spinner baits?
I’m new to spinner baits and only used smaller ones without a trailer but I’m trying to be more consistent, with a bigger catch rate.

A 1lb bass will fit the whole thing in his mouth.

It’s just a matter of preference, it’ll work. My go to trailers are usually around 3.5″ but i know others that reach for 4-5″ trailers.

I’ve had good luck both with and without soft plastic trailers/trailer hooks. The bigger thing IMO is knowing when and where spinnerbaits are gonna be effective and adjusting from there. Spinnerbait with some wind and standing timber/laydowns at the right time can be a lot of fun.
I personally don’t usually run a soft plastic trailer very often anymore. Sometimes I’ll add the stinger if they are short striking.
