I will be fishing a small lake that is stocked with trout. It is 10 feet deep at its deepest. Last season we got one trout on a single salmon egg on a jig. What is the best bait and presentation to catch more of these trout? Thanks!

If it’s stocked trout, they are used to eating little brown pellets and bugs. So I like to use brown colored soft plastics that look like bugs… Best of both.
Small jig with a piece of precooked shrimp on it. Minnow tail or worms also work.
