I think they are both brook trout? Both caught in the Sierra Nevada in two different high mountain tiny streams.

One’s a boy fish and one’s a girl fish.
I don’t actually know, the second could be a male too I suppose but it looks like a female, the first one has red spawning colors and probably doesn’t look that vibrant all year. There’s always a range though, first fish is incredible.
