I’m planning on getting this reel. I’m not sure what rod to pair it with. Using it for bigger freshwater fish like drum, striper, hybrid. Might troll slowly sometimes on the lake, but would also like some cast-ability for potential catfishing. Is the 300 too small for something like this? I still want to have a solid fight with most fish.
Thinking I want a medium/heavy or heavy idk help me out. Thanks in advance
