So he's been swimming like this for a long time. I just added a few tank mates (shrimps) and he's been chasing them at first but all attempts failed. Now he's not even chasing them even if the shrimp swim by in front of him. Is he frustrated or he's working out? Or he's stress? He did swim up and breath a little, then continue his swim again.
Idk if this would do him any bad, does your betta do this swimming back and forth always? I got a 2ft x 1ft x 1ft tank, and he's just swimming at 1 plane.
