This on is my Newport battery box. I had a defect with a battery where the terminal got very hot while connected to my battery box. Should I cut this wire and re-crimp, or am I fine with this?

It looks fine.
When I was in technical school, in my electrical class the instructor always told us a good way to test if a terminal is properly crimped is with the 5 pound test. If you can pull on the wire and terminal with 5 pounds of force and they dont pull apart, the connection is plenty solid.
Heat can cause the crimped section to expand and loosen, if its still tight, you should be fine.
