Here are my 3 bass setups I’ve been using, just started about 2 years ago, so I still have some gaps I’d assume. But the first is a 6 foot ML fast action St Croix Triumph paired with Daiwa Laguna LT 2500 trying the Suffix Revolve Braid on this, mainly for Ned rigs drop shots – small finesse. The 2nd is my main setup, it’s a 6 for 6 Medium TFO professional walleye series rod paired with a 2500 size Shimano Miravel with Daiwa 8x J Braid I throw everything on this mainly – it’s beyond smooth feeling. Then my baitcaster which was my first setup, and I just upgraded the rod to a Daiwa Tatula 7 foot 1 Medium Heavy extra fast action paired with the Daiwa Tatula elite reel – top water and bigger lures on this. Curious to what you guys think I should add or anything I’m missing! I have a 7 foot medium fenwick eagle with no reel right not (my tfo use to be ML so I had this as my medium), then a small kayak rod that’s easy to use in the kayak, and then an ultra light I’m making now for trout and panfish.

Those are really the only 3 setups you need. Bigger the hook bigger the rod.
