Hey all I’ve recently gotten back into fishing again and splurged on some promos I found online to refresh my collection. I was wondering if anyone can give me some advice on what braid or line to use for each?
I’ve currently got a stradic 3000 with 10lb on it with a daiwa td black rod
The nasci I’m thinking of putting daiwa j braid expedition x8 8lb the rods only 1-3kg gonna use it for light finesse fishing
And also have a daiwa lexa 3000 that I’m thinking of putting 15lb or possibly heavier to use some heavier lures
The abu Garcia revo 5x is my first bait caster so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas what line I should use for that as I have no clue about them. I’ll only be using it in fresh water and most likely just off the river banks for the time being
Cheers all

I don’t care what anyone else tells you. The best braid on the market for bass fishing with a spinning reel is Power Pro V2 spectre. Go with 10lb braid. Trust me. It’s outstanding. It’s like silk. If you try to be cheap and use cheap braid you’ll get wind knots and you’ll get extremely frustrated. Power Pro v2 and don’t overfill the spool and you can thank me later. For the bait caster…. I prefer to use Suffix 832 braid. 30lb should be ok. This is assuming you want braid on the baicaster? Personally I’d use fluorocarbon. Line size depends on the technique you’re using the rod and reel for. Also, I assume you’re putting leaders on your braid for the spinning setups?
