I picked up this little one today and she needs a name! The current favorites are Magnolia (Noli) and Uno
Backstory- I was getting some crickets today at Petco and saw this little one eyed lady. I was able to talk the manager into letting me have her free of charge.
She’s currently in a hospital tank as she’s got a bit of a curved spine and seems to have trouble navigating due to her eye (or lack their of)
it’s a 10g filled about 3 inches, with a heater (78f) and magnolia leaves as well as a floating log. Once she proves she can navigate safely I’ll be increasing the depth and adding a filter.
It’s been a few years since I’ve had bettas so I don’t have any test kits for the perimeters or anything, but I should be able to pick them up tomorrow. I did have some ammonia lock and water primer, and treated it for chlorine. Any tips are appreciated!
*the tank in front of a yellow wall, the water is mostly clear minus some coloration from the magnolia leaf tannins
