My girl Cleo has come a long way!
She was dropped off at the pet store I worked at. Originally she was in a large sorority tank and was being picked on. One of her swimmers was bitten off sadly. But she’s still so active! She loves it when anyone comes up to her tank.
I have no idea how old she is, and I’ve been treating her with medication because she wasn’t looking the best when I first got her. Anyways, since she’s been such a champ, I upgraded her to 10 gallon.
I know she’s not the prettiest and the tank doesn’t have enough plants yet. However, I think it’s a start. I got her a really good heater and a thermostat, I upgraded her filter as well. Later on, I’m planning on getting her some floaters for the top of the tank. Is there any more advice anyone could give me? I’m planning on going on a shopping spree once I get paid.
Btw, this tank was cycled two months in advance before moving her in! The water parameters were checked as well 👍

i really love the lil rock plant cluster in the corner. I’m so glad Cleo has recovered well!
Idk if it was just for the photo but make sure there’s a lid, or at least some sort of cover. but yea more plants, maybe rhizome ones that could be attached to the rocks or something would look really cool cuz it would give her something to swim through!
Ive had 2 bettas jump out of their tanks this week. One is damaged, the other passed. Id suggest a lid or some clear plastic glued around the edges so they cant hop out. Is not fun
