I recently ordered a Shimano Scorpion 201xg (JDM version of the curado/tranx). I plan on throwing frogs, medium swim baits (max 2.25 oz), jig heads w soft plastics, and occasionally smaller live baits like finger mullet or pinfish. I fish mostly for snook and bass.
What would be a good rod? Budget: $250.One of my main criteria is that the length from the bottom of the reel seat to the butt of the rod needs to be ~14 inches or more as I have quite large arms.
