Cycling this 10gallon with plans of adding a plakat betta. I have a monstera propagating in the corner and hope the roots will make a perfect hidey cave. Also hoping the moss will start to grow up towards the surface and hide the glue I used to affix it. I have catappa leaves and Iāll eventually add one. The filter and heater are in the back black container, the water flow is adjustable.
This isnāt the first planted tank Iāve cycled but I think itās the first time Iāve seen this white stuff on my hardwood. Why is it only in certain spots? Itās algae, right? I just added some filter media from an established tank so Iām hoping that goes away soon.
Anything Iām missing? Any ideas of a natural hammock I could attach to one of the upper limbs?
