Betta Fish: I’m sad

I got my little guy in May, shipped by mail. He seemed a little off balance but I thought maybe just needed to settle and get his bearings. He seemed fine, was a sweet boy who never flared or bothered the snails. If anything, was a little shy but came out to say hi whenever we came in the room. He unfortunately has an untreatable condition and it makes me so sad. He’s so sweet. I don’t know what I’m hoping to accomplish writing this except sharing my experience and heartache.

Also: I’m not asking for opinions on HOW to do euthanasia, I’m just sitting with my emotions for now with the plan to do it soon. He’s resting and peaceful right now.
