I know this is a silly question, but I have trouble distinguishing between female bettas and the short finned male bettas. Thank you in advance! Third pic is a bonus because they swam up to the camera like when you take a picture of a cat and I thought it was cute.

Male. Box stores call them saumari. They are all plakat tail. I have a red finned male Zuko. I have 7 plakat tails and two halfmoons. 🙂
