Betta Fish: Is this pineconing?

My betta fishes tank is heavily planted and has good water parameters. 0 ammonia 0 nitrite and 10 nitrates, he’s been sinking when he swims, and just been laying around. I have to shake the tank sometimes to see where he is cuz he’s just been hiding. I’m not sure what I did wrong, his water temp is 82. The only thing I can think of is maybe my mom over fed him when I was away for 2 days. I also had a lot of algae since my mystery snail passed away of old age. He was eating fine, I’m fasting him rn cuz I heard it might help. Is there anything I can do? Is this dropsy? He’s not bloated but I’ve been literally analyzing him for 30 mins everyday just to see if he’s ok or if he started to pinecone. I can’t tell if he’s pineconing or not, I asked chat gpt and it said it looked fine but i cannot trust chat gpt to analyze a pic like this. If anyone knows what to do plz lmk.
