Your Amazon is wack unless this is a old screenshot, the top one is 360$ and the bottom one is 224$
I would say buy the bottom one and just buy the Dual Beam-IF Transducer that comes with the plus, it will save you 60$ at least. You will want that transducer if you get the cheaper model.

Humminbird all the way. But as someone else said, if you’re just looking for a flasher, an analog one from MarCum or Vexilar is your best bet.
I have personal beef with Garmin, so I use Humminbird for my GPS/traditional sonar.

I use the bottom one with the normal transducer and it works fine on the ice as long as it sits flat. try it and if it bothers u can spend the extra on the ice transducer

I would get one that has gps. Being able to mark your spots as you fish is handy.
