(first image is her happy and healthy) hi guys I really need some advice please. my sweet girl has always been such an active happy fish. but recently I’ve been really worried about her. I noticed a couple weeks ago some fin was torn (second photo). I wasn’t thinking it was fin nipping because she hasn’t ever shown signs of stress since i’ve had her. I always try to enrich her as well. well two days later after I noticed that I came home to find she had jumped from her tank. thank goodness she landed on a plastic bag and was kept moist. she recovered very quickly and was showing great signs of improvement! well 4 days after the jump I had to move her with me for winter break. we did this once before for thanksgiving and she didn’t even show stress signs in the new tank at my parents house she actually really thrived. so she was doing very well at the start of this break. well i started to treat her for parasites about a week and a half ago because I knew she had been showing signs for a while. now since starting the meds she only rests at the bottom of the tank and hides in a little cave. it breaks my heart that maybe i rushed into medication but i knew it had to be done. now she’s nipped off the new fin growth on the back fin and it’s very deep and i noticed this last night. what can i do you guys please help. I also want to say that my parameters are perfect so it can’t be that, and my filter is very low flow, the temperature is always around 78-79 degrees and all decor is safe for her, i also have the tank HEAVILY planted.

What meds did you use ? I recently used Kanaplex and it made my boy very tired while he was healing. I’m not sure about the fins, but exhaustion with medication isn’t unheard of.
I will say though the fin rot seems pretty severe to me
I’d probably treat for fin rot as they are looking smaller and add some indian almond leaves to help heal up
i’m really getting disheartened, i only got this girl on November 1st and it’s been one thing after the other. everything that could go wrong with a betta has gone wrong☹️ i literally had a dream last night she had dropsy and was pineconing, please tell me you guys have had tough times and after have had a happy thriving betta, i don’t want my girl to suffer☹️
