This guy was at my local fish store and looked horrible, i couldn’t just leave him. Currently he is in a glass bowl with water from my cycled tank (i don’t want to introduce what he has to my clown killis). He has a heat lamp, some of those magic leaves the internet told me about (i don’t remeber what they are called), some floating plants from my tank to try to help him feel more secure, and the water has been dosed with Seachem Kanaflex. He hasn’t eaten any of the blood worms that i’ve also sprinkled some medicine on yet.

In the hours i’ve had him he’s already been moving more and is more reactive!

Im thinking he has scale rot, fin rot, a fungal infection and maybe a gill infection? Any suggestions on what else I can do for him? (i’m planning to get an 6.8 long established for him asap!!!)

He needs a proper tank ASAP. There’s nothing in that bowl for beneficial bacteria to grow on.
