Hi everyone I just got this sweet girl today.
I recently upgraded my boy to a 6 gallon and saw this sweet girl a few days ago.
Today I finally got her but upon buying her we realized she has what looks like popeye and a flared gill.
– it has been 4 hours and it is still flared
She is in my boys old 4 gallon (will upgrade to a 5 in the future). Has a filter and a heater. Tank at a nice 77 degrees. Tested the tank already for ammonia, nitrate, and nitrite. We are all good!!
Thinking about giving her a salt bath…
I am still new to the betta owning community and I just want to make sure my sweet girl is living a healthy life.
