Starting this off with it’s both an introduction post and a dangerous care post. Tonight I sadly fell victim to the recent trend of giving a live animal to someone for White Elephant.
He was originally someone else’s but she thankfully knew and admitted she couldn’t properly care for a fish. He got defaulted to me because I was the only one there who knew any actual fish care and keeps fish. Poor baby man was just getting tossed around in that evil cup, I don’t not support this bad trend ):. I could feel this evil foreboding feeling deep in my bones the whole week up to this party, was really hoping no one brought a live fish.
(The person who brought him did it as a ‘joke’ gift ): no receipt or anything actually useful, just bad pellets)
Off the rant, here’s the boy! I let my coworker who first opened him name him because she was responsible with knowing she couldn’t care for him. His name is Cranberry! Because he was a Christmas gift 🙂↕️. I think I’ll be calling him Cran!
It was very lucky I just so happened to have an empty third cycled tank, wasn’t planning on getting a fish but oh well I guess. Even funnier I think is that I quite literally just bought a new betta boy for my second tank 2 days ago 😭
