I've already been use it for a year in medeetrian sea saltwater, rockfishing, from surf, i never free a screw to clean it from inside, no corrosion after diving and falling in salt water many times, i only rinse it with water and wipe it after, I have now the 2000 size reel and 3000, i started to use them after having a hard time with my shimano sedona 5000xg and daiwa laguna 1000 lx got corrosion only after two or three times diving with the reel that supposed to be somehow waterproof enough, but i got disappointed, but this boki reel just wow literally best reel ever ever no issues at allllll
It has all the shimano new technology also full waterproof, just i fall in love with it, so beautiful, best choice i've ever made since i have started fishing, also one more important thing its cheapppppp
