Betta Fish: UPDATE betta imbellis scratching himself (he has his own tank now)

First I would like to thank everybody that commented on my original post and helped me understand that, in spite of "being possible" to keep a group of imbellis, the situation is far from ideal and I was drifting away from my motto of "thriving, not surviving" for my tanks.

I am happy to announce that bro has now his own 8g tank. I have used only things I had at home for this emery situation, and tried to create a Blackwater-inspired tank. The lighting is not working quite alright, so it is mostly only showing the red spectrum, but it will have to do while I don't buy the next one.

I used a bunch of pothos cutouts I had around the house and weren't doing that great in their pots to create a "root forest" kinda feeling. Some drift wood pieces, leaf litter, a heater and a airfilter.

He now shares the tank with a small group of chilli rasboras, some shrimp and snails. He has regained all his colors and he's wound is fully recovering.

I hope I am now doing good by him with what I have ❤️ he deserves it.
