Will this spud bar be ok? Or should I get an Eskimo one? Very new to ice fishing and getting all my first ice fishing stuff. Thank you. I ask because it’s only like 20$ and see most are around 50-60

I have this one. Does exactly what you need it do.

I have that. Works great. Wrapped the handle with pipe insulation and hockey tape.

It’ll be fine. The lighter the spud the more taps you should do to make sure it’s okay.
