Custom 72”x20”x20” tank with 3/4” acrylic from TruVu. I’ve been keeping aquariums for close to 15 years, and after having my house’s floor inspected by a professional I decided to finally get my first 6 foot tank. Been running smoothly about one full month. Still need to adjust the scape a tad and figure out a centerpiece fish and/or what else to add. Otherwise I am very happy with it so far!

Current inhabitants:
-30 black neon tetra
-19 green line pencilfish
-5 brochis splendens
-9 panda cories
-2 bristle nose plecos (one normal morph and one lemon blue-eye)
-1 large striped Raphael catfish who I have had since she was about an inch long through 5 moves over the course of 12+ years.

Equipment:
-Lominie pendant lights set to an optimized spectrum at about 50% brightness, though may turn this up if algae stays minimal.
-Two Hygger quartz heaters
-Large Hygger air pump
-Cascade 1000 canister filter
-Fluval FX6 canister filter
-Custom 3D background from Aquadecor which houses two large sponge filters, a large matala mat, bags of ceramic filter media, and several other pieces of sponges of various types. I have an adjustable power head on each side to ensure there is enough water movement, and in fact had to unplug one because there was too much water movement.

Scape:
-Plants are from buceplant and LFS
-Rocks are from glass aqua
-Wood is from manzanita-driftwood.com and LFS
-Sand is UNS Pacifica Controsand mixed with some UNS Vesuvius for accent with plenty of root tabs from FZONE.

Dosed once weekly with Aquarium co-op’s all-in-one fertilizer.

Weekly 20-30% water change, which has thus far kept all parameters in the perfect range.

Uhh…I think that’s all? Any questions please ask! And please give me ideas for a centerpiece fish and/or additional tankmates I should add!
