I noticed a few white spots on my betta this morning. I checked him on both sides as well as top down and I didn't see the classic signs of ich but I'm not quite sure. There's one at the base of his dorsal fin as well as the ones on his face. I have some plants still in their containers to try and stop them from melting as much, could that be a cause of the injury?
Tank inhabitants: neon tetras, shrimp, snails, minor hydra problem (suggestions for that would be great as well)
