I’ve got a 1976 Penn 4/0 reel with original box, original manual, lube, parts bag unopened, for sale. This apparently (grandad no longer alive, so based on no obvious wear and tear) unused half-century old beauty (see pictures) should be on display or put to good use by someone that appreciates vintage quality. I’m a fly fisherman mainly, so it’s not a reel I’ll put through the paces – but someone should! Based on pricing it out I gather in this condition it’s worth some $200 not including shipping. Taking offers.

Fuck , I just purchased a new orvis fly reel , should’ve waited if not I so would’ve purchased this reel. I fish in the south texas area (spi) so I’m always on the look out for gems like these , if this doesn’t sell soon i will def come back with a fair offer.
