So I have a 20gal long with 1 male king betta. I was hoping to make this 20gal a community tank but my betta is not friendly! I have a 10 gal tank with 7 male guppies & 1 female betta. The female betta is not aggressive but I noticed the guppies fins have nips in them. I have watched the tank to see who was doing it and it seems like all the male guppies are doing it to each other.. I thought it might be a good idea to switch my guppies and female betta to this 20gal and switch my male king to the 10gal but I feel bad taking him from bigger tank.😭 I have four tanks so I really don’t wanna get another 20gal… any suggestions on what to do?

Just move him. The 20 gallon will be better for the guppies as well (especially since it seems like you need a lot of females to help with how pesky those males are being. Like 2-3 females per male.) The guppies currently have no outlet to vent their sexual frustrations and thus turn on each other. Not sure what else you wanted in that community, but the female betta will help with population control
Yep, I would switch them up. Agreed with other commenter that you may not have enough female guppies- but see how they act in the larger tank.
