The first pic is what he looked like when I got him the second is what he looks like now he is in a 20 gallon tank the water parameters is the last photo.

I think your tank isnt cycled, also I’ve never seen a samurai do that.

your betta is stressed, there isn’t many plants or resting spots that make the betta safe. Also I’m wonder what is the parameters for Nitrite did you cycle the tank before moving the betta? Are you using a heater? They’re tropical fish so they need warm water from 75°F to 80°F. If you are, how many wattage does it us? A heater for 20 gallons requires at least 100w.

I HIGHLY suggest getting the anchor decor out ASAP. I had similar (if not the exact same one, photo is what I had) in my tank and it began leeching a chemical smell into the water followed by a massive ammonia spike in my 10 gallon! It smelled *heavily* of chemicals even before being taken out of the water.
