Betta Fish: making a betta hammock from pothos clipping roots

hey all! just wanted to share something that wasn’t planned by me but has been a really great addition to the tank so could be planned better by you if you wanted to try haha

I was able to create an almost hammock of roots that my betta loves to perch on and hang out near. I took a small clipping and stuck it in a small glass bottle I got from michael’s craft store and filled it with water. this is about a year of growth. the roots bound together at the bottom but not so much so I couldn’t pull it out easily.

anyways just wanted to share something fun! thanks to this sub for being godparents to my betta. 😹🙏🙂‍↕️
