Camera doesn’t do justice but they are a good 3 Ft or more, I’ve been chasing them all morning trying to catch one but nothing seems to work. How would you approach these massive bass? (i threw every lure inside my box already)

    Are you sure it’s a bass? I bet it’s a grass carp

    They are mostly into eating vegetation (corn works), worms, and sometimes bugs off the waters surface. and won’t go after most lures

    There’s carp specific techniques, and carp specific gear, but you can also use a small circle or specimen hook with some corn or a few worms on it resting on the bottom

    Look up “hair rig”. Apparently it’s pretty popular for carp. I usually target bass so I don’t know all the ins and outs of carp fishing.

    hook a bluegill in the back and hang under a wine cork, then leave the lakeshore, if you can see them, they can see you…
