Any tips will be helpful and can anyone tell me why my betta fish isn’t eating the fish pellet am dropping for him?

I would suggest more plants for hiding places and some sort of lid, betta can jump

pls answer the auto mod questions. Right off the bat, i’m going to say it looks a little small (10 gal is pretty standard for min tank size), and I’m curious if the tank is fully cycled yet + what the temp is? Also, needs more hides

I feed my betta frozen Mysis shrimp and Fluval Bug Bites. Both are high quality and he loves them. Also add more plants like Anubias for coverage and resting spots. I glued mine to peices of wood!
he probably isn’t eating due to stress. you need a lot more plant coverage, try getting some driftwood and attaching anubias to it (or you can buy some pre attached), they will also use the leaves as a hammock. they are stressed when they feel exposed , also try buying some black paper, eg black craft paper, and attaching it to the outside of the back of the tank to cover the whole back (like a background), this dimmer setting will help prevent some stress as the fish won’t feel exposed from all sides.

also i’d really recommend a lid, even a mesh one, bettas are known jumpers

The tank probably around a month or two
No tankmates
And he isnt eating anything
