Used it twice and broke during cast. Heard Daiwa won’t repair/replace even though still in warranty (bought last month)? Anyone ever try to repair with epoxy etc? Love the rod but think any repair wont hold up.

Reach out to Diawa. Then if they won’t fix it. Or find a person who repairs rods. Best options unfortunately

Mine broke is the same place. I fixed it myself by cutting it and inserting a cut down fiberglass arrow, wrapping it with tape to fit tightly, then epoxy. Been good for 2 years since then. I found a YouTube video on it and figured I’d give it a try.

  3. The blank is done, that’s deep structural damage. Epoxy is only gonna do so much and professional servicing would likely have to strip all the hardware and put it on a new blank which would cost much more than what you paid for it.

If it’s still under warranty I don’t know why they wouldn’t replace it but that’s your best option at this point.
