Should I size up or down for this? And what would be the justification? I have a 6wt and just not sure whether it’d be more beneficial to get the -5+ or -7+. Please give some justification. It’ll be for a streamer setup.

If you want more backing, or have a heavier rod you might use it on, get the larger size. If you might use it on a 4 or 5, get the smaller. The differences are minimal.
