i just got a new betta a few days ago after not having one for years. i have upgraded a lot since then i now have a 2.5 gal tank instead of a .5 (ik terrible) my aunt told me it was fine and she used to own a pet store… but one i had lasted 2 years and the other 3 months. i want to know the best possible ways i can care for him without having to get a bigger thank as i dont have money or the space for it. i feel bad that i didn't know they needed at least 5 gal and i cant get one but i hope hes happy and healthy with what he has đ

It would seem that you tank is uncycled. What are your water parameters? What did you do to set up the tank? When? With what? Can you provide more info? Tbh, your fish doesn’t look great and you will probably need to do some sort of immediate intervention to help this new fish. Check out the main page on this sub for basic info.
