First time using a sonar the top yellow contact is my lure. Is this a fish following my lure and another coming up to check it out?

If that’s not your jig, I’d say so. Are they steady or are they going down/coming up
Edit: watched again, looks like they’re moving. Looks like fish to me

Looks like there are a couple of little fish below you’re lure.

Yes, looks like they are on the edge of your sonar cone. The line will become thicker the closer the get to your lure.
On a side note, I would turn down your gain a bit, so your lure doesn’t show up as such a thick line. It makes it easier to differentiate between fish when you get into a big school.
